A new partnership between Triller and Snapchat is taking social music videos to the next level.
Triller, which allows users to make professional looking music videos in mere seconds, is integrating Snap’s Camera Kit, which will enable Triller to incorporate Snapchat’s AR capabilities directly into its app.
The Camera Kit integration will give Triller users access to exclusive Snapchat lenses inspired by artists and songs, which can then be shared across both the Triller and Snapchat platforms. Triller users will not only have access to all of their favorite Snap filters within Triller, but can also create their own custom filters using Snap’s Creation kit and make their creations available for use on Triller.
Triller is the only social partner selected for the Snap Lens integration.
Triller CEO Mike Lu says the partnership with Snap will continue to fuel community creativity on the app:
“We realize the strength in our combined efforts to serve our user community. This is only the beginning of a successful, innovative collaboration that will continue to bring new, exciting features to our users and enable them to create, share and express authentic individuality—highlighting the diversity and creative genius that our users hold.”
Triller’s partnership with Snap is just the latest success for the company in 2020. Triller has amassed more than 85M users, conducted Trillerfest: the most successful online musical of all time, and has become a breeding ground for new talent, with artists leveraging the platform to grow their careers and even secure record deals.
