On March 18, the Loughlin Michaels Group headed to The Fairmont in downtown San Jose to credit one of our own. LMGPR’s president, Donna Michaels, was honored as one of the Silicon Valley’s 100 most influential women of 2009. The award is given each year from the Silicon Valley Business Journal and honors women whom exercise power and influence within their industry and as well as serve as role models for the community. The women were nominated by their community and selected by a panel of judges.

There were more than 600 people in attendance at the event  – most of whom were women. As received their award, they shared – in 10 words or less – who or what has influenced them most in their lives and why. Donna Michaels stated  “To starting a business in the last recession. Challenge, Risk, Reward.”

The event was a lot of fun; dinner, drinks, dessert, and a lot of really influential and well-respected women. Congrats to Donna and all of this year’s honorees including Sally Adelus of Hospice of the Valley whom the Loughlin/Michaels Group supports pro bono.
