With the upcoming launch of AP Stylebook’s new edition, the 2010 AP Stylebook, a miracle within the AP guidelines can be found: “Web site” has been changed to “website” due to reader input.

AP Stylebook posted a tweet about the new update and the Twitter community embraced the news to such a degree, it became a Trending Topic.

Mashable wrote a small post enjoying the excitement this brings to those who utilize the AP style rules and guidelines on a daily basis (including us here at LMGPR).

This will hopefully lead to less confusion in the world and especially within the PR profession.  This new addition will make all the lives of public relations professionals easier now that “Web site” has become a one-word entity: website. Thank you AP Style.
