The Loughlin Michaels Group has been selected for the 2013 Best of San Jose Award in the Public Relations Counselors category by the US Commerce Association. Each year, the USCA scopes out the best local businesses that have “achieved exceptional marketing success” and “enhance the positive image of small businesses through service to their customers and community.” This is the fifth time LMGPR has received the award. The US Commerce Association says nationally, less than one-tenth of the 2013 Awards were certified as five-time awardees.

The Loughlin Michaels Group has been selected for the 2011 Best of Sunnyvale Award for the third year in the row by the Public Relations Counselors category by the US Commerce Association. The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. Less than 1% receive the award three years in a row.


MarCom Award: Video Campaign

MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. The competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies. The Loughlin/Michaels Group won the MarCom Award for best video product introduction video it created for for ViVu, a client that makes smarter videoconferencing software.


International Davey Award: Website

Davey Award

The largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for the “Davids” of creativity. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock – the sort of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. The 7th annual Davey Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding work of smaller communications firms. This year’s contest received more than 4,000 entries from around the world. Entries were judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.The Loughlin/Michaels Group received a silver Davey Award for its website based on design, content and social media components.
