SUNNYVALE, Calif., — The Loughlin/Michaels Group, , an award-winning, tech focused public relations agency, today announced it has won two industry awards: A MarCom Award for an online video campaign, and a silver Davey Award for the firm’s website.

The annual MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communications professionals. It is the largest competition of its kind in the world. Entries are judged by industry peers, and administered by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.

The Loughlin/Michaels Group won a MarCom Award for a new product walkthrough video it shot for ViVu, a client that makes smarter videoconferencing software. ViVu’s launched an iPad-compatible version of its VuCast platform, and showcased the new software at the AlwaysOn Summit at Stanford, a prestigious Silicon Valley tech conference. The 7th annual Davey Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding work of smaller communications firms. This year’s contest received more than 4,000 entries from around the world. Entries were judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

The Loughlin/Michaels Group won a silver Davey Award for its website, www.lmgpr.com. The website features clean design, Flash-based animation, consistent branding through the use of color and layout, and an award-winning industry blog. The LMGPR blog site was co-developed by Chameleon Creations based in the Silicon Valley.
