As part of its year-end review, CRN (Computer Reseller News) has come out with its “10 Coolest Networking Startups of 2013” and two of our clients, Jeda Networks and Sideband Networks, have made the list. The honor was given to startups that were either started in 2013, came out of stealth mode or launched their first product and especially stood out in the networking space. LMGPR conducted aggressive launch campaigns with both Jeda Networks and Sideband Networks in 2013.
Jeda Networks, launched in February, takes a pure software approach to storage networking, abstracting storage network’s primary services from underlying hardware to reduce the cost and complexity of storage in cloud or virtualized environments. Its Fabric Network Controller can deliver networked storage to converged infrastructures without the need for Ethernet switches.
Sideband Networks, launched in November, is the industry’s first unified solution that can correlate live and logged network traffic, allowing administrators to compare predicted and historical network traffic models with real-time traffic flows. It also offers a single point of management for both virtual and physical networks, network analytics capabilities for live traffic up to 40 Gbps, and real-time alerts for network issues.
Here at LMGPR, we are thrilled to see these upstart startups make an impact in their industry and help Fortune 500’s move their business forward. We’ve worked closely with both companies, leveraging our LMGPR Pulse methodology to strategically position them as market leaders in their respective categories, and, in just a short time, both Jeda and Sideband have come to be recognized as major players in the market.
This latest recognition from CRN is icing on the cake to a great year for Jeda, Sideband and LMGPR. We look forward to continued growth and recognition in 2014.
